You see the two women in the vests using scrap of cloth from us.
Sakina M'sa designed them and she is the one of the creators who is much talked about now.

Hinaya's cafully made
These are the Obi which we made about 20 years ago.
I have to say, it’s very cool.
I can see the high quality and value universally in them.
Unfortunately, we haven’t made obi like these recently.
Why?
It’s simply because of the decreasing of artisans and demand.
Then, we don’ need to make them anymore, right?
However, we hopefully have some ideas to re-start making obi like this.
We, Hinaya, have to make this kind of art.
We have chatted the subjects like this recently a lot.
I definitely, gonna do something for it, let’s see.

For those ideas...
We run the dyeing and weaving in the textile-producing area, Kyoto, Japan.
We are a manufacturer of Obi/Sash in Nishijin, Kyoto, also a manufacturer of garment and accessory which is our own brand, Akihiko Izukura using the automatic loom which we invented and can make wide width textile.
We manufacture from the dyeing to the weaving all ourselves, not divide of labor, which is very rare in Kyoto.
We are also able to sew by ourselves.
We do basically natural dyeing as our speciality.
We improved the hands-loom ourselves to automatic, however, the speed is very slow as by hands, so that you can see very unique feeling textile even we can’t manufacture much at once.
We have provided very high quality Obi with very unique device and idea for 70years in Nishijin, Kyoto.
The series of Kumiori which we use the skill of braid for Obi are our masterpieces.
Our chairperson now, Akihiko Izukura has exhibited all over the world as a natural textile artist and designer.
Now we have more than 50 wholesale clients in the US through our subsidiary company there.
I, now the owner of this company have been trying to spread world wide the true value of our textile after I inherited my father’s business.
We have advertised our value of textile to maison in Paris and Milan in Europe positively and one of haute couturel maison accepted our textile this year.
In April, we had a good response at our first trial sale in Shanghai, China.
We would like to bring up of young employee, make the sales in Japan more successful and try to have more steady stores of ourselves.
For those ideas…
We will send the very fascinating and unique messages as stories of our manufacturing to the world from the sight of the .brand-producing area and hopefully we have more needs from you.
These are the ones that I have been thinking in prose.

Tzuri Gueta
I had some inspiration that the collection of Tzuri Gueta must be perfect for our garments as sensuous and concept.
I ordered a few to see when I was in Paris.
The other day, I received them, sooner tried them on our fabrics and garments…fantastically matching together!
The big size of itself or the pattern on…
The sense of dynamic and originality make a beautiful contrast with our textile, I thought so!
Now you can see their jewelries at our AKIHIKO IZUKURA show room in Kyoto.
