Thoughts on my second daughter's graduation ceremony
Realizing the importance of childhood more and more as I get older.
Today is my second daughter's graduation ceremony.Various memories come up and go at this kindergarten, as father for
six years and for three years as a kindergartener as myself...
I hope I can finish my note at the graduation ceremony without
stopping for tears.....

Constant uneasiness and complex....
Constant uneasiness and complex.....
It is almost a year I started to update blog almost daily.Recently, there are quite many comments like, "I read your blog everyday!"
And, they also comment to me that my blog is full of new topic
However, the truth is:
I do not write it because I am content with things around me every
day, but because I keep feeling the uneasiness every day, and because
I am agonized and fighting with myself every day, I guess.
For me ‥ all mainsprings of continuance originate in uneasiness and
the complex somehow, though once one realizes the consciousness of the
weakness and immaturity by him/herself, then I believe once the power
starts overcoming it.
It is not possible for me to say of "weakness" thoughtlessly on the
current standpoint.. this is the truth.
Therefore, blog continues.

Our first trunkshow in Shanghai...
Our first trunkshow in Shanghai...
Scarf collection of AKIHIKO IZUKURA will be sold at Isetan in Shanghai
for 14 days, starting Thursday, April 8 until 21 (Wednesday) next
month.
The brand name there will be modified simply as "IZUKURA" and <> catchphrase will be followed.
Various preparations are progressing rapidly now ‥.
Freshmen joined our company of last year in the end of March are in
charge of this project, and they will take a trip to Shanghai in later
March.
Of course, I will attend the show in April so that I can feel how
customers there react to our scarves.

Seeking our own original way...
We bumped into this topic at the last meeting the other day.
"How is a product planning done to create "one-of-a-kinds or being rare?"Not aiming to repeat how much (= production) with one idea and design
(material and = paper pattern), but having a view point that creating
numerous variations by changes in material and design with the same
specs.
In other words, designing of textile to which of each is approved as
different design when one material is divided by the same specs.
Originally it shares the same conception with Hinaya's "One-of-a-kind
obi" exhibition staring on Monday in next week.
This is the design approach that should be achieved only in
environment like our company is proud of, doing everything(dyeing,
weaving, and designing) under the same roof?
If this is done, could we create interesting scarves in many ways?
