When I was writing daily, it became my routine, but once I stop it, so much time has passed easily.
None has been up after my Shang Hai blog, however, so many things happened.
Scholten & Baijings came from Holland. I took them to HINAYA KYOTO ,they came to our dye factory. Teruhiro Yanagihara introduced them to me and we will work together on a project next year.
Mr. Yagi and Christina Kim visited us from the US.
Mr. Yagi is a famous graphic designer, and had worked with Steve Jobs of Apple.
Ms. Kim is the designer of dosa, and the owner of Kamisoe brought her to HINAYA.
HINAYA KYOTO Kiyomizu Gojozaka store is having Masaya Kushino show since 17th. One of our store staff introduced him to me, and when he first visited there, he mentioned that he was so happy to be a Japanese.
His show ends on 30th tomorrow.
I have visited Tango so many times since last month. I deal with Hinaya's factory matters mainly there, but at the same time I started to work on Tango re-vitalization projects with Japanese washi paper designer, Ms. Eriko Horiki.
It will be activated next year.
These are from "Seeds=Tane" show of AFLO+, handmade accessories by Ms. Mayumi Minagawa. She created many new works by using HINAYA textiles. Her works are shown at gallery space 「3rd.」at Mustard.
We connect when she come to Susan Cianciolo show in last Sepember and she purchased our swatches at HINAYA FABRICS. She will work on new accessories with Hinaya textiles and show them at the store early next year.
