JEAN DOUCET-the day 2-

We have had been able to communicate well so far.

The language are not good enough, for that reason, we can communicate with the origin that we have, that part. We are much better to understand each other than we were in Paris.

I feel we can discuss the truth about our business sincerely in the meeting tomorrow even we have professional translator in between.

Now Couture designer JEAN DOUCET whom I met in Paris in July is visiting us in Kyoto.

For his new haute couture collection in January.

He loved our textile when he saw in Paris through someone, then we could meet each other in July, then now he are.

We will discuss about many things until 19th three days in a raw.

He was born and grew up in Paris and have had many tremendous careers with famousmaison and has many clients not only in Paris, even in North Africa he has. It is depends on how we communicate for these three days what we will find out but I am looking forward to having good communication to see how our sense of values globally are to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

He brought red wine from France for this wine lover, which is me!

" CHATEAU LA CALISSE " 2006 (left in the picture). Another wine lover, father of JEAN's pick.

Check the size of bottle. The right is the normal size from Bourgogne, you can see how that is very special from only the size.

said, "Let it mature for three weeks and taste"

Talking about the color of AKIHIKO IZUKURA

Many people say when people see products of AKIHIKO IZUKURA first time is..

It is beautiful with very original colors.

Many people mention colors more than design or the weaving.
They adore the colors by this vegetable dyeing.
I have known the fact but are we aware of our responsibility for that?

We, of course consider the colors when we produce our products.
However, that was just the reason the color simply beautiful, we want to make that color for the next season or sometimes we have to think this way, that is the color for the next season.
We must not the follow the most important point of the colors even we have had many admiration..?

I talked about this subject in today's meeting for new products.

From now..

Let's try to more fascinate people by colors, colors not just beautiful.
Make them touched by colors.
Let's try to be aware of the responsibility more, more and more to make the colors.

I talked about that subject.

Then..

We are going to explain more the reason of the necessity of the vegetable dying.

What is the transmission from the vegetable-natural dyeing from AKIHIKO IZUKURA?

To feel the colors from the nature and transmit to the garments.
To capture and show the colors from Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, in each seasons by vegetable-natural dyeing.

As Kimono is, it is the beauty concept to transmit the shapes and colors from each seasons to it.

We, do from dyeing to the garments in Kyoto, we can try to make an eternal fashion through the vegetable-natural dyeing.

That must be the "coloring" by AKIHIKO IZUKURA, I think.

I talked about that today.

I think we already changed the concept..?

Now we are planning many trial, taking actions.

-To establish cooperative identity, visual identity as textile company HINAYA

-To be reexamine VI as a position of our own brand [AKIHIKO IZUKURA]

-To establish a new our own brand

-To reconsider the web site of whole our company including a new brand above

-To reconsider as a company brand [HINAYA]-Kimono department

-To develop the sales as HINAYA U.S.A.

-To have collaborations with creators in N.Y.

-To develop the sales in the Chinese market through Shanghai

-To have collaborations with couture Maison in Paris

-To keep offering our textile to Maison in Italy

-To offer the textile to designers and creators in Japan

It looks like we are doing so many different things but they are all related.

Yes, they are all toward our concept..

That is we would like to help to contribute to protect and progress Japanese culture

communicating globally in based of traditions of dyeing and weaving, tradition of Kyoto and the

idea for the nature in Japan.

These are the guidelines for our conduct to come them true..

To become a number one and only one textile brand company
To have clients of our own brands globally
To have a show room which people would like to visit when they are in Kyoto
To use our own we-site more actively and to contribute for rearing of gifted people and lifelong study in an aging society

A year ago, I started hoping these in my mind then told them, now everyone in the company knows.

They each other, take actions for them as a definite project, delegate authority to the company positively, with the key people who lead positively, to try to connect each other in and out of the company, we are moving forward hoping promising future positively.

"You don't get it without getting the concept because the concept is the key to decide the fact"

I know we are still on "the fact =the action" but I would like to say

"I think we already changed the concept..?"

Fall in 2010, AKIHIKO IZUKURA will present new line..

with Ms. Rieko Morita "Japanese painter".

We, AKIHIKO IZUKURA ask Ms. Morita for our invitation of new line instead of professional model
from this fall. I have had a thought to ask some lady who is related to Kyoto, also who has been created something by herself, then we found her.

She willingly accepted our proposal!

She loved AKIHIKO IZUKURA garments in the photos shooting, then gave us very enchanted comment.

"Gentle feeling and colors from the nature. I sympathized to your creation which embrace the heart of the nature because I also use flowers as my theme for my paintings."

" My impression is "the wearable art". The delicate colors and the novel design.I can feel "new born Me" by the gentle touch of wearing from the hand-made."

She went off to the party with our scarf on that night after the shooting!
I missed that shooting, however, was very happy to hear from her later.

Rieko Morita

Painter for Japanese Painting

Recieved many prize

Morning Gathering. At the beginning of the second half of the fiscal year, again, the story of " What is the sticking to the result?".

It is very important for our company now to manage the balance between "Reality" and "Ideal".

One more thing, it is important to have "an axis of time".

Those are the keywords which we always keep in our mind.

Or, if we switch Reality and Ideal to..

"Present" and "Future", "Objective valuation" and "Self Content"..?

We would be able to adapt that concept to ourselves individually..?

The process to bring us the result would be enthusiastic..?

It is more important to learn the way how to find than the answer itself.

Therefore, the company ourselves or each other will stick to consider about the result by axis of time,

that is the guideline for the next plan.

And..

What is your images of the access to success?

Probably, it might be the short cut, also reasonable to try to dedicate for the whole activation in

our company, not to try to win to be monopolistic for something.
