3/22 A little bit of flowers of the world

These are the plants.

You can't touch them but they are very hard when you touch.

As their peculiarity, the fiber are all line up regularly and they were found in the ocean 500 km away from Tango Hanto in Kyoto.

You can see the flat pattern with checker flag when you untie the rope.

They said that  this is originally formed as textile, you don't need to weave although all of textile are woven by humans hands.

This is the universal discovery and the article was on the Kyoto evening times on Feb. 29th 2011. Then became the attention of experts and the "the Nature" the magazine from UK came to the interview about it.

They named it " A little bit of flowers of the world"

because it is very rare and the discoverer is a fan of SMAP.

Of course these are all fiction :-)

The person who made this up imagined that we, the textile maker would be very easy if we had this kind of plants.

This is the story from the "Let's enjoy the arts @ HINAYA" day.

She would like to express the expectation and potentiality of textile.

She also would like to express the form changing from the flat textile's feeling or form by squeezing and tie.

I like it! Is it cool, isn't it?

With surprise at the end.

Her ambition is these flowers are going to be displayed in the window of the our new store in Gojozaka, Kyoto.

Very nice.
